Welcome to the British and Empire section

The British part of the collection is mainly centred around equipment used by Great Britain herself, and her Dominions in the First and Second World War. Notable countries present in the British part of the collection apart from the UK are: Canada, India and Australia.

Equipment is NOT categorised after country of origin, but after model number and / or official designation and year / date.

Post World War Two equipment will feature from time to time, and is always labelled post war to remind the reader that the year of introduction is after the end of hostilities with the Empire of Japan.
